MANAGEMENT OF REDDITCH BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
Redditch BID Board consists of at least 6 volunteer company directors drawn from levy-paying organisations to create a representative, business-led group to oversee the BID's financial, managerial, and operational activities.
The majority of the Board would continue to come from private-sector organisations, and the Chair would always be a private-sector member to ensure that the BID retains its strong business focus. This company would continue to be limited by guarantee, thus limiting the liability of Directors and businesses.
The Board of Directors would be fully accountable to BID levy payers and would be senior figures within their parent organisations. The Board would meet at least 4 times yearly and receive management and financial reports at each meeting. They would communicate regularly with levy-payers on key issues, mainly reporting progress against this Business Plan, including an annual progress report.
