MANAGEMENT OF REDDITCH BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
The Redditch BID Board consists of six volunteer directors drawn from across the local business community, representing levy-paying organisations. Together, they form a diverse, business-led group that oversees the BID’s financial, managerial, and operational activities.
The majority of the Board comes from private-sector organisations, and the Chair is always a private-sector representative to ensure the BID maintains a clear business focus. The company operates as a company limited by guarantee, which protects the liability of both Directors and businesses.
Each director is fully accountable to levy payers and holds a senior role within their organisation. The Board meets at least four times a year, receives management and financial reports at every meeting, and communicates regularly with levy payers on key developments. This includes reporting progress against the Business Plan and publishing an annual report.
The Board is committed to raising the profile of Redditch and supporting local businesses, using the skills and experience of its members to deliver meaningful improvements across the town.
