Celebrating Excellence in Redditch – The 2025 Business Awards Shortlist Has Been Announced

We are incredibly proud to announce that the shortlist for the Redditch Business Awards 2025 has officially been confirmed.

Following months of planning, a public nomination process, and a significant number of submissions from across the town, the judging panel has selected this year’s finalists  and the standard has been nothing short of outstanding.

From thriving independents to longstanding local names, from charities doing vital work to individuals going above and beyond in their roles, the shortlist for 2025 reflects the best of what Redditch has to offer.

This year saw more nominations than ever before, with people from across the borough putting forward the businesses, employees, and organisations that make a real difference in the day-to-day life of Redditch.

It’s always a powerful moment when the local community takes the time to highlight those who are doing things right not just in terms of great service, but through innovation, integrity, care, and long-term impact.

Whether it’s a tradesperson whose work ethic is second to none, a hospitality venue delivering unforgettable experiences, or a business that’s created real change through inclusive employment and leadership the nominations this year told a story of passion, pride, and resilience.

To be shortlisted is more than just a pat on the back. It’s formal recognition of hard work, consistency, and contribution. Every finalist on this year’s list has earned their place through merit, and many categories were incredibly difficult to judge due to the high standard of entries.

The categories for this year include a wide range of sectors, such as:

• Hair, Beauty and Well-Being
• Hospitality Business of the Year
• Independent Business of the Year
• Charity of the Year
• Employer of the Year
• Tradesperson of the Year

Each category highlights a different part of the local economy and community. Some focus on business performance, while others celebrate people and projects making a real human difference.

All shortlisted businesses have now been contacted directly by our team and have received a special ‘Shortlisted’ badge to share across their platforms. Keep an eye out for them on social media and show them your support if you see a familiar name.

Each finalist now has the opportunity to submit additional information to support their entry. This is optional but strongly encouraged, especially for those who want to give the judges a fuller picture of their work, values, or achievements over the past year.

The deadline for submitting this information is Thursday 27 June, and finalists can use the form provided in their email to upload anything they feel will strengthen their entry  from testimonials and photos to business achievements and stories.

The winners will be revealed at a live ceremony taking place on Saturday 13 September 2025 at the Palace Theatre, Redditch a truly iconic venue and one we’re proud to host this event in once again.

The evening will be a celebration of all that makes Redditch brilliant  the businesses, the people, the energy and the pride that runs through our high streets, our industrial estates, our salons, our shops and our offices.

Finalists will be given early access to book tickets before they go on general sale. You’ll be able to bring colleagues, family, friends, and supporters  it’s going to be a night to remember.

The Redditch Business Awards are more than just an event. They’re a moment of recognition for the individuals and organisations who quietly go above and beyond every single day.

They’re for the teams staying late to make things perfect. The independents opening early and closing late. The employees who bring energy to every shift. The businesses that adapt, grow and care.

And they’re for the people of Redditch because every time we recognise excellence locally, we help build a stronger, prouder, more confident town.
