Looking Ahead: Redditch BID's Exciting Plans for 2026

A Calendar Full of Unmissable Events

Our events have become fixtures in Redditch's calendar, and 2026 will see the return of firm favourites. The Redditch Motor Show will once again showcase stunning vehicles and attract enthusiasts from across the region. SummerFest promises warm-weather entertainment for all ages, whilst ScareFest will bring spine-tingling thrills to the autumn months.

The Redditch Business Awards will celebrate the outstanding achievements of our local business community, recognising the innovation, dedication and excellence that makes our town centre special. And of course, November will see the magical 2026 Redditch Christmas Light Switch-On, with Santa himself making special visits to businesses throughout the town centre.

Investing in Your Success

This year marks a significant step forward in our commitment to levy payers. We're introducing an expanded range of training courses designed to help businesses develop new skills, navigate challenges and seize opportunities. Whether you're looking to enhance your digital capabilities, improve customer service or develop leadership skills, our training programme will offer valuable professional development throughout the year.

Making Redditch Better

Place management is about more than just maintaining appearances; it's about creating an environment where businesses and communities thrive. We'll be participating in the Great British Spring Clean again, working alongside volunteers to ensure Redditch looks its best. Our ongoing place management initiatives focus on the practical improvements that make a real difference to how people experience our town centre.

Stronger Together Through Partnership

Our partnerships remain the cornerstone of effective advocacy for Redditch businesses. Working closely with West Mercia Police, Redditch Borough Council and other key organisations, we ensure the voice of the business community is heard in decisions that affect the town centre. This collaborative approach enables us to lobby effectively on issues that matter to you, from safety and accessibility to infrastructure and development.

Get Involved

Every event we organise, every training session we deliver and every partnership we forge is designed with one goal in mind: supporting the success of Redditch businesses. We encourage all levy payers to engage with our programme, attend our events and make the most of the opportunities available.

2026 is set to be a landmark year for Redditch town centre. Together, we'll continue building a thriving business community and a destination that residents and visitors love.
