Redditch BID Welcomes Students at HoW College Freshers Fair

We had a brilliant time at HoW College Freshers’ Fair, meeting students and chatting to them about some of the things happening in Redditch town centre.

It was a great opportunity to introduce students to Redditch BID, explain what we do and tell them about some of the events and activities we organise throughout the year.

We also chatted about how we support and promote local businesses, the work that goes on behind the scenes and what we’re doing to encourage more people to visit, shop and spend time in Redditch town centre.

Getting students involved

One of the best parts of the day was simply getting to chat with the students themselves.

We had some really positive conversations, and it was great to hear students asking how they could get involved with Redditch BID and support some of the things we do across the town.

We want young people to know what’s happening in Redditch, come along to our events, discover local businesses and feel like they can get involved in their town too.

Freshers Fair gave us a great opportunity to have those conversations face to face and meet students who may not have known much about Redditch BID or the work we do.

It was a really enjoyable day, with plenty of great conversations, and hopefully we’ll see some familiar faces getting involved with us in the future.
