Redditch BID’s Yearly Update – Key Highlights from Our Event
Plans, Progress, and Exciting Developments for the Town
On Thursday, 13th February, Redditch BID hosted our Yearly Update at Redditch Library, bringing together businesses and stakeholders to discuss the town’s future. The event was an opportunity to reflect on our progress, share plans for the year ahead, and hear important updates on Redditch’s regeneration.
Guest Speakers & Town Developments
We were joined by key figures shaping the town’s future:
- Joe Baker, Leader of Redditch Borough Council, provided an update on the new Redditch market, which will soon bring fresh opportunities for local traders and visitors.
- Rachel Egan, Director of Regeneration & Property Services, shared exciting news about the town centre regeneration and the upcoming Innovation Centre, set to open in 2027 on the site of the former police station.

BID Plans for 2025
Beyond town-wide developments, we also outlined what’s ahead for Redditch BID, including:
✅ New training programmes to support businesses in key areas.
✅ A packed calendar of events to drive footfall and community engagement.
✅ Ongoing work in the town centre to enhance the visitor experience.
The feedback from attendees was incredibly positive, with businesses expressing their support for the work we’re doing to make Redditch a more vibrant place.
Thank you to everyone who joined us—your input is invaluable in shaping the BID’s direction. If you couldn’t make it but want to stay involved, keep an eye on our updates, and feel free to reach out.
