Redditch Market Returns to the Town Centre

After a four-year break, Redditch Market is set to return to the town centre on Saturday 29th March. The market will be located in front of the library, near Church Green and the John Bonham statue, providing a dedicated space for traders to operate in a central location.

The market, managed by Redditch Borough Council, will initially run twice a week, giving local traders an opportunity to re-establish a presence in the town and offer a range of products to shoppers.

Markets have long played an important role in town centres, giving independent traders a platform to reach customers while offering shoppers a different retail experience. This return aims to reintroduce that offering to Redditch, giving traders a chance to sell directly to the public in an open, accessible environment.

If you are a trader looking for a space at the market, you can apply for a stall by contacting Lyndsey Berry at Redditch Borough Council:

Pop-Up Stall Opportunities for BID Businesses

In addition to market traders, businesses within the Redditch Business Improvement District (BID) can also apply for a pop-up stall at the market. This is an opportunity for businesses within the BID area to promote their products in a town centre setting.

If your business is within the BID area and you would like to take part, please contact us, and we can help facilitate your involvement.

The return of the market is a positive step for the town centre, and we encourage businesses and shoppers to support the initiative as it re-establishes itself in Redditch.
