Community Action Day

Redditch BID is delighted to be partnering with Make Britain Beautiful to bring the very first Community Action Day to Redditch.

This community led initiative is all about bringing residents, businesses and volunteers together to make a real difference to our town centre. Whether you can spare an hour or stay for the whole morning, every helping hand will help create a cleaner, brighter and more welcoming environment for everyone.

What We'll Be Doing

Volunteers will split into small teams to work on a variety of improvement projects around Church Green and the surrounding area, including:

Weeding around Church Green and the Redditch Foodbank car park

Litter picking throughout Church Green and nearby streets

Cleaning public signs to help brighten the town centre

Improving green spaces and making the area more welcoming

These simple improvements will have an immediate impact and help create a town centre that everyone can be proud of.

Why It Matters

Creating an attractive, welcoming town centre is one of Redditch BID's key priorities. Community Action Day supports our ongoing work to improve the appearance of the town, encourage civic pride and create a positive experience for residents, visitors and businesses alike.

By working together, we can all play a part in looking after the places we use every day and help make Redditch an even better place to live, work and visit.

What to Bring

If you have them, please bring:

Gardening gloves

Litter pickers

Buckets

Cloths or towels

Gardening tools or equipment

Don't worry if you don't have any equipment. Everyone is welcome and there will be plenty of ways to get involved.

Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear.
