Hope Through History at Redditch Library

Join Redditch Library this June for a special free community event celebrating Gypsy, Roma and Traveller History Month.

“Hope Through History” will bring people together through storytelling, culture, food, art and family activities, helping to shine a light on the rich heritage, traditions and voices within the Gypsy, Roma and Traveller community.

Visitors will have the opportunity to hear from Gemma Lees, an author from the community, as she shares her story and experiences. There will also be an exhibition of artwork created by local children for GRT History Month, alongside traditional food and activities for children throughout the afternoon.

This free event is open to all ages and offers a welcoming opportunity to learn, reflect and celebrate culture and community together.
